Get the best moving company in Vancouver

Relocating your business office is much harder that moving a house, you need the right moving company in Vancouver.  Each work station must be disassembled and reassembled and the floor plan at the new building has to be followed.  It is very disruptive to the staff and your customers.

If your moving company in Vancouver doesn’t have the experience to understand the challenges involved, you could be in for a disaster.  Fortunately, I have used Action Movers before and I knew I could count on their experience and professional staff to get my move done quickly and efficiently.

They provided an estimate at no charge and worked with our employees to cover all facets of the move and they were happy to work with our planning staff to cover our list of requirements.  With their experience they were able to point out possible bottlenecks for moving day and make suggestions on how to avoid problems.  They pointed out some potential issues that we didn’t even think about and I’m sure we would have struggled had they not been advising us through a very stressful time.  Their suggestion on the layout of workstations was great – it was even better than we expected.

Retiring to Victoria

When it was time for us to retire, we knew there was only one place we wanted to be – Victoria, BC.  The weather there is the best in the country and we were really looking forward to hiking and gardening … we love to be outside.

After having found the perfect house, we needed our Victoria movers.  There was no one else we would call except Action Movers.  They handled our last move and it went as smooth as silk.  Their staff is well trained and professional and they handled everything for us.

When we called to ask them to be our Victoria movers as well, Action Movers  and their friendly office staff were very helpful in letting us know what extras are involved in moving to Victoria.  The obvious difference is the ferry to Victoria which means 4-5 hours of the moving trip by itself.  Just like our last move, we ordered their packing service so they could pack all the dishes, books and electronics and we didn’t have to hunt for boxes.  They supplied everything.

We are looking forward to our move next week and it is a wonderful feeling not to have to worry about the physical move itself.  We know we have a reliable mover and trust them completely.

Flipped for Action

We were very excited, as we had just bought a little house that we were planning to flip.  Anxiously waiting for the day of possession, we knew that tenants were to move before the house sold.  During our three visits to the house including the inspection, we had planned where we would start and what we would need to repair or replace.  Our list was long, but we were really looking forward to the adventure.
Well the adventure began when the tenants didn’t bother to take all of their belongings when they moved and they left the house in such a mess, we could have cried as we hadn’t planned on trash removal in Vancouver.  We were going to have to spend at least 2 or 3 precious days cleaning up and disposing of all the junk.  That’s when we decided to call Action Junk Removal and we were so glad we did.
They arrived within hours and got started on the trash removal Vancouver.  Before we knew it the house was cleaned up and we could get to work on the flip.  That’s when we had another brainstorm, and got them to quote on removing the rubble we knew was going to be created during our flip.  They beat the quote we had from another company and we agreed to call them when we were ready.

Moving made easy

When we listed our house for sale, our agent recommended staging to help sell the house quickly.  The home stager told us we needed to remove a lot of items, so we looked for storage units Vancouver.
We needed to move about a lot of furniture and other articles that would have filled at least 2 rooms when we were ready for storage units in Vancouver.  Luckily our home stager recommended Action Movers and they provided us with lots of options in storage unit sizes and prices.  They even gave us advice on how to pack our stuff and how to load the storage unit so it was easy to retrieve anything quickly if needed.
I particularly liked their idea of having an inventory list, which proved to be very helpful when moving day came.  Well the good news is the house is sold and we are so glad that we took the home stager’s advice and stored our surplus furniture and things.  Everything was safe, dry and ready for us when we needed it.  The rental rate was very reasonable and we had 24/7 access to our belongings.

Easy as 1 2 3

I am always suspicious of service guarantees.  So many companies make wild promises and fail to deliver on them.  We have all had that experience or at least know someone who has been burned by a company.

When our real estate agent recommended a mover when we were moving to Victoria I had my usual doubts.  But was I wrong.  I called Action Movers and right from the first minute I knew they were different.  When their representative asked me to give them 2 phone numbers for moving day, I was puzzled, but he explained that if our home landline is disconnected on moving day before we leave, they will need a second contact number.  Wow – I hadn’t even thought of that.

As we got closer to moving to Victoria they called us to remind us to change our address and cancel our utilities and cable at the old house and get them connected at our new house.  What a thoughtful touch.  They also reviewed all the information for our moving day, checking on times and addresses.

On moving day, this is where the easy as 1 2 3 comes in, Action Movers packed our house and moved us to Victoria without a single hitch!  They even reminded us to breathe.

Victoria here we come

We were delighted when my husband’s job meant a transfer to Victoria from Vancouver.  Victoria is the arguably the most beautiful place in B.C. and that is really saying something if you have seen any other areas of the province.

After a few weeks of house hunting, we found a perfect house and as we returned on the ferry boat, it occurred to us that if we needed to go on the ferry to get to Victoria, so would all our furniture and belongings.  Were there moving companies in Victoria who had service from Vancouver to Victoria?

We found Action Movers who specialize in moving families from Vancouver to Victoria.  As an added benefit, they are an eco-friendly moving company that uses sustainable and reusable moving products such as plastic wardrobe containers instead of one-use cardboard boxes.   Our family takes the global environmental problems seriously, so we are always pleased when we find companies who support our beliefs, especially a moving company in Victoria.

Action Movers made our move to Victoria very easy.  We planned to spend the night before our move in a Victoria hotel due to a gap in our closing of the old property and our new property.  Action Movers even stored our belongings overnight and delivered right to our door the next day.

The Piano is back!

We have a beautiful antique upright grand piano that we bought when our daughter at 7 years old starting begging us for piano lessons.  Well I’m happy to say that the lessons went very well and she is an accomplished pianist.  That was a long time ago and she has moved out and has her own piano now.

Fast forward 20 years and we now have a grandson who is taking piano lessons.  Every time he was at our house, he was glued to the piano for hours.  He was very successful in his music lessons and he really wanted to take our piano home.  That was fine except he lived 200 km away.

I had no idea what movers in Vancouver BC could look after pianos. I did some research and called Action Movers as they are experts in piano moving.  Never having had to move a piano, I had no idea what to do.  But I didn’t have to worry they asked me where the piano was located, how many stairs were involved and what kind of piano need to be moved.  They gave me an estimate and promised to move it on the day I requested.

On moving day, they arrived right on time with everything they needed – blankets, a piano skid and three very strong men.  The piano was out of the house and on the truck in no time and it arrived in perfect condition at grandson’s house.
