Flipped for Action

We were very excited, as we had just bought a little house that we were planning to flip.  Anxiously waiting for the day of possession, we knew that tenants were to move before the house sold.  During our three visits to the house including the inspection, we had planned where we would start and what we would need to repair or replace.  Our list was long, but we were really looking forward to the adventure.
Well the adventure began when the tenants didn’t bother to take all of their belongings when they moved and they left the house in such a mess, we could have cried as we hadn’t planned on trash removal in Vancouver.  We were going to have to spend at least 2 or 3 precious days cleaning up and disposing of all the junk.  That’s when we decided to call Action Junk Removal and we were so glad we did.
They arrived within hours and got started on the trash removal Vancouver.  Before we knew it the house was cleaned up and we could get to work on the flip.  That’s when we had another brainstorm, and got them to quote on removing the rubble we knew was going to be created during our flip.  They beat the quote we had from another company and we agreed to call them when we were ready.

Moving made easy

When we listed our house for sale, our agent recommended staging to help sell the house quickly.  The home stager told us we needed to remove a lot of items, so we looked for storage units Vancouver.
We needed to move about a lot of furniture and other articles that would have filled at least 2 rooms when we were ready for storage units in Vancouver.  Luckily our home stager recommended Action Movers and they provided us with lots of options in storage unit sizes and prices.  They even gave us advice on how to pack our stuff and how to load the storage unit so it was easy to retrieve anything quickly if needed.
I particularly liked their idea of having an inventory list, which proved to be very helpful when moving day came.  Well the good news is the house is sold and we are so glad that we took the home stager’s advice and stored our surplus furniture and things.  Everything was safe, dry and ready for us when we needed it.  The rental rate was very reasonable and we had 24/7 access to our belongings.

Easy as 1 2 3

I am always suspicious of service guarantees.  So many companies make wild promises and fail to deliver on them.  We have all had that experience or at least know someone who has been burned by a company.

When our real estate agent recommended a mover when we were moving to Victoria I had my usual doubts.  But was I wrong.  I called Action Movers and right from the first minute I knew they were different.  When their representative asked me to give them 2 phone numbers for moving day, I was puzzled, but he explained that if our home landline is disconnected on moving day before we leave, they will need a second contact number.  Wow – I hadn’t even thought of that.

As we got closer to moving to Victoria they called us to remind us to change our address and cancel our utilities and cable at the old house and get them connected at our new house.  What a thoughtful touch.  They also reviewed all the information for our moving day, checking on times and addresses.

On moving day, this is where the easy as 1 2 3 comes in, Action Movers packed our house and moved us to Victoria without a single hitch!  They even reminded us to breathe.
